Google Green Search Trends

We were asked by Google Green to make this video to highlight some of the top green searches of 2011. A 3d animation of polaroid style photos was created in Maya by Shyam Vyda and Olly Tyler. The animation managed 450,000 hits on YouTube in just the first month.

Lion King in 3d

We recently made another call to action promo for Disney. This time it was to promote the recent re-release of the Lion King which has been brought out in 3d. The job required editing Lion King footage mixed with some 3d graphics and a special shoot of two kids singing. The spots will appear on air across Disney's channels.

Russian Airline's 20th Anniversary

Alexander Fedorko of One More Group in Russia commissioned SquareZero to make content graphics for a holographic presentation celebrating the 20th anniversary of the airline Transaero. The airline are the second largest in Russia and ranked eighth in the world for traffic volume. The event was on the 5th of November in Russia and as a focal entertainment the holographic movie played to huge crowd of invited guests. The content was concerned with displaying the history and success of the airline using 3d animations of many of its Boeing jets alongside video footage and many other graphics to give the visitors an exciting overview of the company. 

Cetaphil skin cream TV commercial

SquareZero's Jonson Jewell and Olly Tyler completed post production on Toast's latest production of the Cetaphil skin care lotion. The work consisted of facial morphs and backgrounds being composited in Nuke.

Kick Buttowski 'Design A Poster' competition

Kick Buttowski is Disney’s cartoon daredevil! Our objective was to promote and demonstrate the Kick Buttowski ‘Design A Poster’ competition, in order to encourage kids to get online and have a go!

Our call to action promo setup the premise of designing a poster for a chance to have it featured in an actual Kick Buttowski episode. We also demonstrated the fun interactive design features of the competition (using elements such as a paintball slingshot, a catchphrase stamp, spray cans) and the simple pleasure of just taking part!

Stan Mytkowski was the creative producer on the project for SquareZero and Joel Harrison was the animation creative.

Nirvana Nevermind TV Commercial

Monty Films and SquareZero created this spot for the 20th anniversary re-launch of Nirvana’s Nevermind album. Directed by Stuart Fryer and George Cheng, the set design looked to emulate the iconic imagery from the 90’s. Footage of the band was then composited into various elements on the desk. George set up and shot the desk at SquareZero's studio in Shoreditch. All the props were created, adapted and sourced during the week before shooting. The commercial went live with the album re-release at the end of September.
